FAQs

How much does Selwyn Kids cost?

At Selwyn Kids, we believe every child should have access to quality early childhood education. For eligible children, 20 Hours ECE provides up to 20 hours of subsidised early learning each week for children aged 3 to 5 years.

Additional support may also be available through WINZ childcare assistance, depending on your family’s circumstances. FamilyBoost may help eligible families with the cost of early childhood education.

We’re here to help you understand the options available and find the right care for your family.

Are Selwyn Kids teachers qualified?

Yes! All Selwyn Kids teachers are qualified professionals.

Do you offer holiday programmes?

Yes! We offer many holiday and out of school programmes – Please contact us to find out more and hear whats on.

Thank you to the wonderful staff, extra special thank you to the Explorers staff for making it an easy transition back to work, my son enjoyed his days playing with his friends and learning new skills. Many afternoons I would have to bribe him to come home!

Both our kids went to Selwyn Kids. Our older one came from a different kindy with lots of problems and not the nicest experience. While in Selwyn kids he was happy from day 1. It was the time when they still had chickens too 😊 Our second one went there from beginning (joined as soon as he turned 2yo, and stayed till he turned 5.5 yo).
